Payment, scheduling & cancellation.
Short version: hours never expire, but they are non-refundable, and sessions can be moved free of charge up to 24 hours before they start. Everything below is the full detail, and it applies to every coaching hour bought through Red Line Up.
Payment & refunds
Coaching hours are non-refundable. Once you buy hours they are yours to use, in full or a session at a time, for as long as you like — but they cannot be exchanged for a refund, in whole or in part.
Hours are sold in packs of 1, 4 and 8. The per-hour rate drops as the pack gets bigger, and the discount is the reason a larger pack is final: it is priced as a commitment, not a deposit.
- Hours never expire. There is no clock on your balance and no monthly fee. Take a month off and your hours are still there.
- Checkout is handled off-site by our payment processor. Red Line Up never sees or stores your card details.
- Hours are credited by hand once payment clears — usually within a few hours, and always within one business day. Use the same email address as your Red Line Up account so the hours land on the right balance.
- Your full hour-by-hour ledger is on your Account page, so you can always see exactly what was added, used or returned, and when.
If something has gone wrong with a purchase — hours that never arrived, a charge you do not recognise, a balance that looks incorrect — tell me before anything else. Mistakes get fixed. That is different from a refund, and it is not affected by this policy.
Sessions
Every coaching session is a single one-hour block. There are no 90- or 120-minute sessions to book — if you want two hours, book two blocks.
- Sessions run live over Discord. You will get the details once a session is confirmed.
- Booking a time uses one hour from your balance immediately. Cancelling in good time puts it straight back.
- Your first hour after the Player Assessment is free, and it is booked exactly like any other session. The scheduling rules below apply to it too.
- Sessions have to be requested and confirmed. Times I have posted are first come, first served; you can also propose a time that suits you and I will confirm it or offer an alternative.
Rescheduling & cancelling
You have until 24 hours before a session to move or cancel it, free of charge. Inside that 24-hour window the session is locked in. If you cancel it, move it, or simply do not attend, the hour is used and it does not come back to your balance. There are no exceptions to this.
The reason is straightforward: an hour I have set aside for you inside a day cannot realistically be filled by anyone else, and I have already done the preparation for your session.
- More than 24 hours out: cancel or reschedule from your Coaching page, as often as you need. The hour returns to your balance the moment you cancel.
- Inside 24 hours: the hour is spent. That applies whether you cancel, ask to move it, or do not show up.
- Booked a session and then something came up? Cancel it as soon as you know, rather than waiting to see. Before the 24-hour mark it costs you nothing.
Running late & no-shows
Life happens, and this part is meant to be reasonable — but it has a limit, and the limit is firm.
If you know you will be late
Message me at any point before the session is due to start and I will wait for you. You keep whatever is left of your hour. Sessions cannot run past their scheduled end time, though, so thirty minutes late means a thirty-minute session — I am under no obligation to go over.
If I have not heard from you
I will wait 10 minutes past the scheduled start. If you have not appeared and have not been in touch by then, I am free to end the session, and the hour is forfeited.
Ten minutes is the whole grace period when there has been no contact. A message beforehand — even a one-liner from your phone — is all it takes to turn a forfeited hour into a shorter session.
If I have to cancel
This cuts both ways. If I cancel a session, or cannot make it for any reason, your hour goes straight back onto your balance and we find another time. That is true no matter how close to the session it happens, and nothing above counts against you.
Membership & access
Red Line Up is private one-on-one coaching, not open enrollment. Registrations are approved individually, and access to the Player Assessment and to coaching scheduling is granted per account.
- Coaching scheduling unlocks once your Player Assessment has been completed and I have sent back your written review.
- Accounts are personal. Sharing your login, or reselling or redistributing session content, assessments or written reviews, ends access without a refund of any remaining hours.
- Coaching is instruction, not a guarantee of results. Poker involves risk and variance, and nothing here promises a particular outcome at the tables.
Your information
I collect what is needed to coach you and run your account: your name, email address, how you heard about Red Line Up, your assessment answers, session history and hour balance. It is used to deliver coaching and nothing else — it is never sold, and it is never shared with anyone outside Red Line Up except the service providers who run the site and process payments on our behalf.
Want a copy of your data, or want your account and its data deleted? Ask me and I will take care of it. Deleting an account forfeits any hours left on it.
